Client Update: Burnin’ Rubber

Client Project Notes:

V. Write and collect content. Bonnie indicated that she would like a bit of background/biographical information on her website, so I took notes at our last meeting of the history of Burnin’ Rubber and her interest in creating a space for people to make inexpensive cards and express themselves artistically. Writing a biography (even a short one) is harder than I thought it would be. I put a little bit of bio on this example page, but it’s definitely a work in progress. I am planning to meet up with her again sometime this weekend to go over a little more biographical stuff, and to make sure I understand what she is looking for in that area.

VI. Prep graphics and check sources. Bonnie also wanted pictures of her cards on the webpage. Since she creates all of the designs herself, this request makes a lot of sense. I am working on finding the best way to get great images of the cards (suggestions welcome). Since all of her card designs are 3 dimensional, I can’t just scan them into the computer. So I’m playing around with lighting in different rooms and camera vs iPhone pics. I have included a few images that I already have for the webpage. I made sure to use the alt text feature for each one.
